Jim McIngvale, owner of Gallery Furniture (http://www.galleryfurniture.com) was our guest
speaker and he told us about himself, the gift of living in America and the
gift of the work ethic that he received from his dad.
"I received two
great gifts. (1) I got a great work ethic from my dad. He's 85 and I am so
lucky to have him still working with me 3 days a week at Gallery Furniture and
(2) I won the lottery...I live in America, the greatest country in the
world."
"I wish that every school kid could go overseas for just one day
to see what it is like in other countries. If they could, then they would
realize how good it is to live in America." |

current Rotary president.
Jim and Gallery Furniture are involved in
scholarship programs and charitable programs all over our area and Gallery
Furniture sponsors a number of events which raise money for good
causes.
